Whitley Penn

Autumn Kraus is a Partner in the Forensic, Litigation & Valuation Services department of
Whitley Penn.

She obtained her under-graduate degree at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, and her MBA
from Stephen F. Austin State University. Autumn obtained her law degree from Texas Wesleyan
University. Autumn is a Certified Public Accountant with an accreditation in business valuation.
In addition Autumn is a licensed Attorney in the State of Texas.

While Autumn is currently a practicing CPA, her career began in industry and she has experience
in both manufacturing and banking industries. As a foreign operations audit manager of Archer
Daniels Midland Company, Autumn was responsible for overseeing the internal audit functions
related to overseas operations and various special projects including internal fraud investigations.
As Controller of Commercial Bank of Texas, Autumn’s responsibilities included oversight of
accounting, development of effective policies and procedures related to accounting, and
supervision of the IT and operations department.

Autumn currently spends her time providing forensic accounting analysis, business valuations,
lost profit calculations, damage calculations and fraud investigations. Autumn has significant
experience in the family law area including tracing and characterization of assets, reimbursement
calculations and forensic accounting. She provides testimony and assistance at depositions,
mediations and trial preparation.

Autumn has lectured on various topics including business valuation, fraud, and understanding
financial statements for non-accounting professionals.
